With over twelve years of experience in risk and cybersecurity, Johan has built an international career spanning information security, internal audit, organisational resilience and operational performance. He has worked with multinational organisations across Switzerland, Greater Europe and the United Arab Emirates, gaining valuable exposure to diverse regulatory environments, corporate cultures and international business practices.
As Managing Director of PPA Consulting Partners Malaysia, Johan brings this international perspective, together with a strategic and commercially focused approach, to leading the firm’s growth in Malaysia and across the wider Southeast Asian region.
His professional background has given him a strong understanding of how organisations assess risk, establish effective governance frameworks and build resilient operations. Having worked across multiple jurisdictions, Johan is particularly adept at navigating complex regulatory and operational environments and translating these considerations into practical, commercially focused solutions.
In his role as Managing Director, Johan leads the strategic and operational development of PPA Consulting Partners Malaysia, with responsibility for driving business growth, developing trusted client and partner relationships, strengthening institutional networks and ensuring the firm consistently delivers the professionalism, discretion and personalised service at the heart of PPA’s approach.
Working alongside PPA’s international leadership and partner network, Johan oversees the development and delivery of the firm’s key service areas in Malaysia: Student Concierge, Residency & Relocation, Premium Real Estate, and Market Entry & Business Services.
A key part of his mandate is positioning Malaysia as a strategic gateway to Southeast Asia and expanding PPA’s network of trusted relationships across the region. This includes building relationships with universities, relocation and immigration specialists, property developers, professional advisers, institutional stakeholders and commercial partners to provide clients with a carefully coordinated ecosystem of support.
Combining more than a decade of international experience with a structured, analytical and collaborative leadership style, Johan brings both technical insight and commercial awareness to PPA Malaysia.
